Jes\u00fas Gonzales Hurtado, gerente general de la Liga de F\u00fatbol Profesional, anunci\u00f3 que el campeonato arrancar\u00e1 el 7 de febrero, postergando su inicio originalmente previsto para enero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Con la participaci\u00f3n de 19 clubes, cada equipo descansar\u00e1 en una jornada. Adem\u00e1s, la temporada incluir\u00e1 tres descensos. El formato mantendr\u00e1 los torneos Apertura y Clausura, cuyos campeones, junto con los dos mejores equipos del acumulado que no hayan ganado estos torneos, disputar\u00e1n los play-offs de fin de a\u00f1o.
