La Federaci\u00f3n Peruana de Voleibol anunci\u00f3 la triste noticia y resalt\u00f3 su legado como \u00edcono del deporte nacional y formadora de nuevas generaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nacida en Ica en 1952, Luisa Fuentes Quijandr\u00eda fue una de las voleibolistas m\u00e1s destacadas del pa\u00eds, participando en 7 Sudamericanos, 4 Panamericanos, 3 Bolivarianos, 2 Juegos Ol\u00edmpicos y 4 Mundiales. A lo largo de su carrera obtuvo 10 medallas de oro y 5 de plata. Tras su retiro, tambi\u00e9n dirigi\u00f3 a la selecci\u00f3n nacional.
